HOUSTON ASTROS -130 {J. Verlander}
NEW YORK YANKEES +125 {L. Severino}
- Verlander after being traded by the Tigers has been absolutely dominant with the Astros and his postseason numbers are very good. I don't consider the kind of dominant pitcher like Kershaw, Scherzer and co. but the numbers are just impressive.
- Severino had an incredible Regular Season and probably is the hardest-throwing starting pitcher. On his first postseason things didn't work out very good up to now, but he surely has the speed to be dominant.
- Pitchers were pretty much dominant yesterday, for the Yankees this game is so important, because going 0-2 down against a better team like the Astros would make things extremely complicate.
- The line and the market are going with the Yankees and if I would be forced to choice I rather go with the Yankees +125 then with the home favorite. But, +125 is not really a great value considering that you gonna play on the road and against a better team.
- Like better New York on this one, but don't feel confidence enough to get in with that line on the road.
LOS ANGELES DODGERS -196 {C. Kershaw}
CHICAGO CUBS +187 {Still Not Named}
- Kershaw allowed 4 solo home runs in the first postseason game and didn't look so solid as you would expect from him.
- Chicago played a crazy 5-games Series against the Nationals. The relievers have been a disaster except Lester and it's very hard to expect what the Cubs can do on this Series.
- The starter will be likely Quintana or Lackey.
- Not too confident on Kershaw and also the Nationals for at least 3 games haven't hit much against the Cubs, I wouldn't be surprised if a similar thing would happen to LA.
- On the other hand like I said not really sure either on what to expect from Chicago.
